Known for providing well-built and tough transportation equipment to the ag industry, Bill and Lucille Harris founded the company in the 1950’s, and incorporated as TUFF BOY in 1963.

Beginning with tilt-bed trailers that established the company’s reputation for excellence, and evolving over the years with updated hoppers, produce trailers, flat beds, and other equipment to meet client needs, to this day TUFF BOY continues to deliver.

In 2023, a new chapter began for the TB family with the acquisition of assets from SBM of Gridley, California — an ideal combination of talent, skills, and experience to carry on and expand the TB mission of building first-class ag equipment.

Today TUFF BOY EQUIPMENT manufactures Orchard Cabs, AG Trucks, Bankouts, Sprayers, and other high performance field support equipment exclusively for a preferred dealer network across the western United States and Canada.
